Very easy to use. I was nervous at first because I had not driven for years but within a 1/2 hour of practice I was back on the road driving again. Using them came very naturally and I excited to be driving. We have them on a car that we don’t have to take them off but a full able family member drove with them on. Otherwise, I can’t say how easy it is to remove them and put them back myself.

I bought these hand controls because I suffer from neuropathy which is under control for whatever reason it has gotten worse. The numbness in my feet has affected my driving so I took myself off the road because my foot would slip off the pedal, and it was very unsafe. My husband was driving me everywhere, which was a nightmare. All we did was argue L0l! So someone I know in the medical field told me about hand controls so I figure Amazon has everything so let me try it well lo and behold here they are my neighbor installed them. He is very mechanical and my first time I went out I went out in the rain I wanted to see if I could drive within 10 minutes. I got the hang of it believe me you have to think and you have to be fully engaged. I bought driving gloves because my hands would freeze and sweat all at the same time, so I went on, Amazon and I bought some leather driving gloves, which helps when I drive myself to the gym. I drive myself to work. I don�t go very very far yet its been about a month just to have my freedom is everything so if you suffer from a temporary disability or a permanent disability, I would definitely look into this. They have given me my freedom back!

I got these for my boyfriend who is newly paraplegic, he loves them. They really helped him get a sense of normalcy back after such a drastic and difficult loss, very grateful to the manufacturers and the genius behind this contraption. My boyfriend had installed them and was driving within 20 minutes the first time, now he can pop them on pretty quickly which is convenient. He�s even driven at night and by himself with these with no issue (not recommended, just circumstancial).So far they are very sturdy and reliable until we can afford to have a permanent install done.

I was missing one screw no place to ask for a new one I don�t want to send it back would like a new screw

Purchased these for my son who has nerve damage in his right leg. He had it installed in 20 minutes. It did take him little time to get adjusted but overall really does exactly what it should

This hand control changed everything for my son, allowing him to drive! One note- we bought new bolts and locking nuts from Revell Ace Hardware, to make it permanent. These are affordable compared to our local disability store which cost $895+ install.

I'm a right leg bka driving with my left foot was a pain this product works great and much safer easy to install and was driving driving with ease in 5 minutes

I received the package at 10:30am. At about 11:15am I drove the neighborhood without problems and I am feeling confident enough to make some longer future journeys. Great product if you hand good motor ability in your right hand. You have be able to keep your eyes up and not look down when using this product. It can be used left handed but that makes leg room a squeeze. I am back in the saddle after losing my right foot! Make sure you check the wingnuts as a pre trip routine, they can become loose rather quickly. Other than that, very I mean VERY happy with this product. After spinal surgery to remove a tumor my feet were left numb and severe neuropathy. I could drive, but not safely, my foot would miss the brake or slip off the accelerator. It got to the point I couldn�t drive safely. These are LIFECHANGING! I no longer feel unsafe driving. I was hesitant after I read other reviews, but watched a few videos on YouTube about these controls and ordered them. I installed them all by myself with in 10 minutes. I learned to use them safely after a 10 minute drive around my neighborhood. I felt comfortable enough to drive on the interstate and around town the same day I installed them. Even had a opossum run out in front of me and I was able to break hard and miss it. These are totally safe if you have able bodied hands to operate them. Don�t forget to order a steering wheel knob with these hand controls , you�ll need it to make sharp turns because one hand will be on hand controls.

It's great for the value of money, easy to use, easy to install. Would be better if there was a coating over the part u hold with your hands since it turns your hands silver. But that was an easy fix, I ended up putting velvet tape there to prevent it from rubbing off and also helped cusion that area.
